The purpose of the ACW is to enable women in worship, learning and service.

It exists to educate and nurture women of any age group to contribute in a worthwhile way to the Parish and community. It is done in an informal environment to help women integrate into Parish life. It is a great way of meeting other women, of having interesting conversations, sharing experiences, and making new friends. For a newcomer to the Parish, it is a way to break the ice with people and very quickly lose that feeling of being a stranger.

How do I become a member??
Actually all active women of the Parish are automatically members. We sincerely ask you to join us.

If you are a newcomer,
.....make yourself known,
.....talk to other women, let them know your interests,
.....ACW will help you integrate into the Parish

Share and enjoy;
.....Occasional meetings, with a Guest Speaker,
.....The secret pal programme,
.....Occasional Muffin breakfasts,
.....Annual ACW Sunday luncheon with a speaker at a local restaurant,
.....optional craft group,
.....helping hands for those in need, support at times of bereavement,
.....Annual pot-luck dinner
.....Annual Fall bus trip, and special outings
.....Planning outreach programmes to support the community
.....participation in World Day of Prayer

Our opening prayer sums it up:

'Almighty and Eternal God, enable us through worship, learning and service, to live a life in Christ, that, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, we may show forth your love to others throughout the world. Amen'
