“As I Have Loved You”   John 15:9-17

The children will read the story of JESUS THE VINE in the Whirl Bible and talk about the passage.

Crafts are a great way to reinforce the lessons we learn in Church School. This week the children will be making: 

People Chain: The children will make paper loops out of various colours of construction paper and learn that each loop represents all the people, regardless of their skin colour, that need to know God's love.

Love Prayer Bags:  The children will write the names of someone they know on paper hearts and place the names inside a decorated paper prayer bag. They will be encouraged to take a name out of the bag each day and say a prayer for that person to experience God's love.
