Our Community Ministries

As Christians we look to reach out to both local and distant communities and provide assitance to people facing economic and social challenges.

Some of our key community ministries are listed below.

ACW (Anglican Church Women)

The Christ Church ACW plays a vibrant role in the life of the Anglican Church and serves to bring women of all ages together for social and service opportunities.

The community is invited to attend and support the fundraising and seasonal events hosted by the church such as the Lenten Pancake Supper, Muffin Breakfasts, Plant Sale, and Christmas Market.

Black History Month

The Black History Month committee is a vibrant and integral part of the life and work of the Christ Church community. They provide opportunities to break barriers, create awareness about the Black community, fellowship, education, love and support to Christ Church parishioners and beyond.

Attend our events, help with our fundraising efforts and we welcome anyone interested in supporting our efforts to join the committee!

International Outreach

The International Outreach ministry provides a platform through which service to those less fortunate is facilitated through projects and international travel. It enhances our compassion for others as it permits us to understand their plights first-hand and convey that understanding to our fellow parishioners. Through these experiences, one’s faith can be strengthened.

We welcome all who wish to travel or discuss international projects. All support - both financial and volunteer hours) gratefully accepted.
