Worship at Christ Church

At the heart of the Anglican faith is the weekly rhythm of worship, unbroken through centuries past, and continuing into the future. This rhythm of worship is appropriately described as the opus dei or ‘the work of God’.

“Save us, O LORD our God,” wrote the Psalmist, “and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to thy holy name and glory in thy praise”
Psalms 106:47

Countless generations of Christians have found that taking some time each week to participate in community worship has a genuine impact on their peace of mind. This ancient pattern of worship changes hearts and minds and provides space for inner sanctity, contemplation and a deeper more meaningful relationship with God.

All Christ Church worship services are free and open to all.
